Just want to say also that the whole course is awesome - seriously
the
best money I have ever spent in relation to playing drums! I've been
playing for about three years but have mainly taught myself, picking
stuff up from listening to songs and bailing up a couple of mates
that
play with a million questions every time I see them. Anyway, I think

First let me say that your course is
awesome. I am 59 years young and played drums in a rock band in the
60's. About a year ago I decided to go back to drumming, first
buying an electronic set then an acoustic Pearl set. I must admit I
needed much practice and sought the assistance of a drum instructor.
At first he was helpful and with
lots of practice I was able to again play like I had played before.
After 6 months of lessons twice a week at $60 an hour, I found that
he was not teaching me what I wanted to improve on. (tock beats,
fills and solos). He insisted on just playing the lesson from a
Carmine Appice rock book, and wouldn't take the time to show me
other beats. I decided to drop his instruction and did.
In the meantime I searched the web
