THE ICANPLAYDRUMS.COM AFFILIATE PROGRAM!

OK, let it be said: this is not some get rich quick scheme, MLM, pyramid or anything else of the sort. It's simply an affiliate program... a what?

WHAT IS AN AFFILIATE PROGRAM?

An affiliate program is for people who own a related site (in this case drums/music) who can send traffic (people) to our site, via a link or email advertisement etc. When any of the people sent purchase from Icanplaydrums.com, the person who sent them (the affiliate) makes a commission on the sale. And in our case, we offer a 40% commission on product! (The industry standard is 10%).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

When you sign up for our affiliate program, you get a special URL link that you use to send traffic through to us. In any of your website links or email ads etc you use this link. Then whenever someone comes to our site via this link, a cookie is placed on them, and if they buy at ANY time (that day, 3 months later, a year later) you get 40% of the purchase price. We send you a check every month for the commissions you earn in that month.

SOUNDS A BIT SNEAKY.. IS JACK BEING SNEAKY?

It's a win/win situation. It costs me nothing to have you send me traffic that may buy, and I earn 60% of the price if they do. It costs you nothing to email people who come to your site, on your mailing list, or have people click a link on your site to us. You then earn 40% on a product that you don't even own nor ever had to build! Think about that, if you tell your friend to go buy the latest Nike shoes; Nike doesn't pay you 40% of the amount your friend spends do they?

Furthermore you don't have to worry about sending the product, making it, customer service, follow up etc. You just send the traffic and make a commission, if the traffic buys.

BUT WHAT IF I SEND TRAFFIC AND THEY DON'T BUY?

First off if you have people click an affiliate link or banner on your site and none of them buy from us, it hasn't cost you anything. But that's not very encouraging is it? Here are some real stats:

We convert 1-2 in 100 visitors to our site into paying customers of UDS within 90 days, which as you know retails for $69.95. The industry standard for most websites is 1 in 300 for a product under $100.

SO WHAT KIND OF MONEY CAN I EARN?

Depends entirely on how much traffic you send and how qualified that traffic is. You must send qualified traffic! IE drummers or musicians. If you own a website about gardening tools and you tell them to click an affiliate link to a drum lesson website, don't email us about poor conversions. But if you have, or want to start up, a drum/music website that gets a fair bit of traffic you could expect the following at 1% conversion on 40% commission:

100 visitors sent:    $28
500 visitors sent:    $140
1,000 visitors:        $280
2,000 visitors:        $560
10,000 visitors:      $2,800

I know some drum websites that get 7,000 new visitors a day. Heck even if you have a friend who wants to buy UDS, you can get $28 just for getting him to click your link. It's free for you after all.

For those who are thinking "I know.. I'll just rent one of those email lists with 300 million emails on it, surely some of them will buy!" Bzzzzt thanks for playing. If you're going to do email advertising, you have to use traffic that has opted in to YOUR ACTUAL website.

Only when people have opted in to your website (ie you gave me permission to email you because you signed for 60 lessons), can you legally email them. There's the CAN SPAM act in place now, and contacting people out of the blue is spam.

We all know that 99% of the email rent lists are spam lists, and we at Icanplaydrums.com and our Merchants don't condone it.

So there you have it! That's an affiliate program, and again we offer 40% which is way above normal. If you want to join up and earn some cash, click here.

Happy drumming and green vegies,

Jack
